The name of our restaurant was chosen as a tribute to my brother, who truly believed that Texas was the greatest country on earth!


What is Texas famous for? Lyndon B. Johnson Space Center, sports teams, ten gallon hats and boots, chili, the King Ranch, cattle and sheep, cowboys, the Alamo, and GOOD  Southern COOKIN just to name a few.


A Bit of Texas Trivia

Lake Whitney was the site of the FIRST bass fishing tournament ever held. Over 70 teams participated in the event sponsored by the local newspaper.
